Vikings' Ragnar has spread himself too thin, and the imposing warrior will have to determine whether the invasion of Wessex or the protection of Kattegat is more important during "Eye For An Eye."

Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) made the mistake of leaving Jarl Borg (Thorbjørn Harr) behind when he left to invade the west, and Borg took out his frustrations on Lothbrok's home village during "Treachery." After slaughtering many of Kattegat's woman and children, Borg assumed control on the settlement when Rollo (Clive Standen) fled into the mountains in order to protect Princess Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) and two of Ragnar's sons.

When "Eye For An Eye" begins, Ragnar will still be blissfully unaware of the bloody regime change back home. Instead, the sea-faring warrior will be meeting up with King Ecbert (Linus Roache) to propose an end to their bloody raid in exchange for some of Wessex's incredibly fertile land (see video below).

However, when he does catch wind of the problems back home, Ragnar will pull up stakes and head back home. Unfortunately, he will loose ships - and valuable fighting forces - in a storm before he reaches home. When he does manage to reach land, his arrival will not go unnoticed. Jarl Borg will be looking for him, and looking to put an end to him.
