Evil ended up on the winning side when Sleepy Hollow wraped it's freshman season, and the Witnesses will have their hands full trying to even the playing field when the series returns next fall.

With Crane buried six-feet under (again), Abby stuck in purgatory, Jenny unconscious, Irving in prison, and Katrina in the hands of Headless, our heroes need something major to help them turn the tides, and it looks like there may be one magical creature that could help them out.

"We're creating a new creature that our team kind of controls but doesn't," said executive producer Len Wiseman, according to TV Guide. "It's a dangerous creation that Headless will have to face ... that's as evil and scary as Headless."

Wiseman also hinted that this new monster could be connected to Headless via the one piece of the horseman Crane and Co. have access to.

"They have one element of the Headless Horsemen that they possess: His head!" Wiseman told TV Guide.

In the meantime, Crane and Katrina will have to decide how to deal with their wayward son, the Horseman of War.

"As evil as he is, it's still their son - so it's not gonna be an easy to decide what to do with him," Wiseman said, according to Entertainment Weekly. "At the end of it, can you kill your own son? That's gonna cause conflict."
