Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed that there will be multiple versions of him as the Terminator in the fifth instalment of the sci-fi film.

In a recent interview with MTV, the action star dished about playing the mean machine after all these years, particularly taking his age into consideration.

"The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath," he said. "It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."

But rest assured fans will get to see a "younger" Terminator as well. Schwarzenegger suggested that Terminator: Genesis will feature many versions of the cyborg.

"Terminator deals a lot with time travel, so there will be a younger T-800 and then what that model does later on when it gets reprogrammed, and who gets ahold of him," he said. "So it will be all kinds of interesting twists in the movie, but I feel so good."

In January, news broke out that the film would be using time travel sequences to assist in the continuation of the storyline. More recently, a reliable inside source revealed to Screen Rant that Terminator: Genesis would move back and forth between The Terminator (1984) and Terminator: Judgement Day (1991).

Terminator 5 is scheduled to release in July 2015.
