Fans got a first look at Williams' acting debut when the trailer was released Monday.
At one point, she was almost dropped from the production; Williams missed a rehearsal and that didn't sit well with Burruss.

In a promo, Burruss is practicing with other ladies and her choreographer, but Williams is nowhere in sight.
Burruss tells the cameras, "It makes me nervous that Porsha's not here because with us having to learn so much choreography and all of these songs, if you miss one day, you miss a ton."
Her manager, Don Juan, is a little skeptical of Williams' role in the play to begin with, so when he shows up at the practice he makes it clear that she should be there too.
He tells another actress, "I'm glad you're here... 'Cause Porshance isn't. Uumm.. But yeah.."
He then drops the bomb that Williams would be missing three to four more days of practice.
Burruss says, "I understand Porsha is working on getting everything cleared up with her contract. But for her to not show up and then continue to ask for additional days off. I'm starting to question whether I should even have her a part of this production."
D. Woods, formerly of Danity Kane, is also in the play and asks if Williams would even be coming to all of the shows. While Burruss is confident she would be at the actual shows, Don Juan and her choreographer aren't as hopeful.
They then joke about Williams being on a "world tour" and opening up for co-star Kenya Moore in The Twirl Tour.
Burruss adds, "I hate to give Don Juan the satisfaction. But if Porsha keeps this up we'll just have to give her spot to the lovely Jade. You know she's the only person with an understudy."
They must have worked it out because Porsha appears in the trailer. Check it out below.
Alongside Burruss, Williams and D. Woods, 112's Q Parker and R&B greats Shirley Murdock and Gerald Levert star in the play as well.
