Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) and King Ecbert (Linus Roache) saved the day for Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) and Athelstan (George Blagden) during "Eye For An Eye," but both characters still have a lot of problems on their hands.

Kate Argent's New Identity Revealed, Scott Heads To Mexico On 'Teen Wolf'

"I think people will see an Athelstan who they've not seen before," Blagden told TV Guide. "We've seen a very sort of devout religious man who's been taken away from everything and anything he knows and thrown into this Viking society. [He] managed to survive there, and now he's become a part of that. Now that he's recaptured, he's come full circle. ... I hope you'll be able to see a man who's been through so much more than he should have really at that point in his life."

Now that he is back in his homeland, will Athelstan stay and carry on in the Christian way of life or will he return to the Viking world that became his home by force? Prepare to see the former monk struggle with his faith and identity for a second time during "Answers In Blood."
