Despite having an unsuccessful history with sleepovers, the ladies of Palos Hills High could be setting themselves up for a similar disaster in Awkward's fourth season.

Matty and Jenna Become Friends With Benefits?

Jillian Rose Reed, who plays Tamara on the show, posted a photo of herself on Instagram with fellow co-stars Ashley Rickards (Jenna), Nikki DeLoach (Lacey), Molly Tarlov (Sadier) and Desi Lydic (Val) dressed for a slumber party on March 26.

"My family, duh," she captioned the photo, which featured all five women in various types of sleepwear, with Rickards also wearing a sleep mask on her head.

Eva Has a 'Cringe-worthy' Encounter With Val?

The photo could hint that the women were about to shoot some type of slumber party scene for the fourth season. According to MTV's Remote Control blog, it isn't necessarily a good sign for the ladies in the scene however, as the last time a sleepover scene was filmed on the show, it didn't end well.

Back in Season 3, Tamara and mortal enemy Sadie were reluctantly tossed into a sleepover together with Lissa (Greer Grammar), as they attempted to find out answers concerning the death of Ricky Schwartz.

However, Lissa eventually left in a huff, leaving Sadie and Tamara alone to deal with one another. The scene resulted in the two calling a truce for sleep, though Tamara was initially relegated to sleeping on the floor. After whimpering like a sad puppy because of her bad back, however, Sadie did allow her to sleep in her bed.

Regardless of how disastrous another potential sleepover could be for the ladies on the show, season 4 looks promising, according to one of Reed's most recent tweets.

"I got a sneak peek at Awkward Season 4 tonight and let me tell you...You're gonna die. April 15th. 10pm. Be there. #amaze. @MTVAwkward," she wrote March 24.

Awkward season 4 premieres Tuesday, April 15 at 10 p.m. on MTV. Watch a clip of the season 3 sleepover scene below.
