'RuPaul' Season 6 Cast: Gia Gunn Reveals Who Should Have Gone Home Instead & Remains Friends With Queen? [VIDEO]
After Gia Gunn was eliminated on the last episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, she offered some thoughts on her relationship with another contestant as well as who should've been the one to leave before her.
Milk & Bianca Del Rio To Be Last Competitors?
On Thursday, The Advocate posted an interview with the latest eliminated contestant, who dished on her part in the competition with no regrets.
"I can honestly say I tried everything in my power at that moment to survive and do the best I could to not be eliminated," Gunn said. "And Laganja turned it. She deserved to stay."
Contestants To Battle On Who Is The Best RuPaul?
In the last episode, Gunn and Laganja Estranja were the two remaining queens who were up for being booted out of the competition. Gunn mentioned that despite having to battle against Estranja in that particular episode, the two still remain friends.
"We had each other's back, and were so close that the thought of having to lip sync against each other [didn't cross] either of our minds...until episode five happened," Gunn said. "We did, we conquered, and she sent me home...We communicate almost every day and share many memories outside of our drag, and I can truly call her a good friend, sister, and fellow Ru girl."
When Gunn was asked who really should've been the one to leave the competition, her opinion was on Milk.
"Simply because I thought her 'Snatch' character also fell flat," Gunn said about the last episode featuring a Snatch game. "And to top it all off, her runway look as a male version of RuPaul on a drag show was simply mind-boggling for me. But she stayed, and that is completely fine too!"
RuPaul's Drag Race airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Logo TV.
