'The Walking Dead' Season 5 Premiere: New Episodes Feature Cannibals At Terminus Like In Comics? [VIDEO]
It looks like any predictions of cannibals appearing at Terminus on The Walking Dead can be put even more to the test when Season 5 premieres.
On Monday, ComicBook.com released some information on the mysterious place that was supposed to be a "safe haven," mentioning that there might be a connection with the Fear the Hunters storyline from the comics or an episode from The Telltale Game series.
The site mentioned that in the comics, the cannibals would torture their victims slowly while keeping them alive for as long as possible, and they lure people to them rather than hunt for them.
It's possible that these cannibals will likely make a grotesque appearance next season if the writers plan to have details from the comics in the series.
In the latest episode, Rick, Carl, Michonne and Daryl got involved in a massive shootout with others, though the group realized that they weren't trying to kill them since they were aiming at their feet. This leaves speculation on what that has to do with Cannibals; perhaps it's not to attract attention or it might have something to do with the pile of decaying bones that appeared in part of the screen.
It appears that those bones could be from walkers who had been killed off before. Based on the big moment from the episode, it doesn't look like anyone in the group noticed those body parts even though they might be an important piece of information on what the characters have gotten themselves into.
The Walking Dead Season 5 is expected to premiere in October 2014.
