As Alicia lost her main man on The Good Wife, she is trying to deal with the evil twist of fate in many ways, and it seems like she might take some pretty grave decisions in her emotionally distraught condition.

Alicia and Diane to Merge Their Firms Because of Will's Death in Episode 17?

For fans, who eagerly await the next episode, which is to air after two weeks, Enstars has a few predictions for how things might pan out in Alicia's life. It seems like the leading lady of CBS's hit legal drama will be taking some pretty radical steps, one of which might be to seperate from her husband, Peter.

In the latest episode, The Last Call, Alicia is already seen riding a downward spiral after she learns of Will's death. Toward the end of the episode Peter has a chat with her, trying to console her, but it doesn't seem to go too well. In a recent sneak peek about the upcoming episodes their relationship seems to be completely collapsing under the strain and Alicia does seem to be demanding a separation as Peter shakes her into reality suggesting they only had each other left.

Michael J. Fox is the "New Will?"

In an ugly showdown they end up slinging mud at each other:

"If you think your life would be better with Will, then you are kidding yourself," he says.

"Stop it, Peter!" she warns him.

"No! I am not going to let you throw away this marriage because you have some idealized notion of a man who you are not even sure he cared about you!" he retorts.

The abuses fly as the argument hits a fever pitch.

"You're a bastard," Alicia assertively states.

"And you're a selfish b*****!" Peter strikes back. Adding that they are all that they have.

Alicia also seems to be drawn to Finn Polmar, the opposing prosecutor who was with Will as he breathed his last. In The Last Call, Alicia sought him out curious to know what Will's last moments were like.

Now from the synopsis of the next episode, A Material World, Enstars learned that Alicia will offer assistance to Polmar as he gets dragged into a mess over the bloody shooting in court. The State's Attorney will be looking for a "scapegoat in the Jeffrey Grant case," and Polmar seems to be a ripe target.

Also, the recent news that Matthew Goode, who plays Polmar, has been promoted to series regular on the show after his first episode as guest starred aired, suggests that he will be playing a more integral role on the show.

A Material World will air on April 13 on CBS.
