Fans need not speculate any further, House of Cards is back in action... April Fools! Apparently, the joke was on all of the hit Netflix series fans yesterday, as the show's mastermind, Beau Willimon, sent out a pretend "sneak peek" of the third season.

According to Mashable, Willimon won for having the best April Fools' Day prank by sharing a fake script via his Twitter account April 1. The faux script opened in D.C. on a "blisteringly hot" Independence Day morning, with Kevin Spacey's character, Frank Underwood, giving a speech at the Lincoln Memorial. "We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests..." reads the script.

Then, he turns, looks directly into the camera to address his television audience, and states, "As long as those interests are my interests." As Underwood continues speaking, he is interrupted by a flash of light so bright that it is almost blinding. At first, it appears to be a "giant meteor racing across the sky," but then it stops in mid-air and turns out to be a spinning "metallic orb," resembling an alien UFO.

As the metallic orb begins to land, mayhem ensues and the crowd panics in fear, rampantly dispersing in every direction. Underwood remains cool, calm, and collected, and is interested in not only moving forward in a celebratory, July 4th manner, but also ready for any potential battle. "Whoever or whatever this may be, we will not go quietly into the night. We're going to live on!"

That's the American spirit! Check back with Enstars for more news about the upcoming third season of House of Cards, which is expected to actually premiere in early 2015.
