It seems like Diane and Michael J. Fox's character, Louis Canning, will be at loggerheads as he joins Lockhart/Gardner in the upcoming episode of season 5 of The Good Wife.

Alicia's "Fun Chemistry" With Finn Polmar to Lead to an Affair?

The synopsis of the episode, A Material World, reveals that Diane will face "the difficult task of working alongside Louis Canning when joins Lockhart/Gardner."

After the shocking episode, Dramatics, Your Honor, ended, CBS followed it up with a brief look at what to expect from the rest of the season. While mostly Will's close friends were seen grieving the preview also hinted at thenew development. It seems like Canning's entry at LG throws everything into disarray. As Canning steps in he also acts a bit douchey with some of the people who are meant to be working for him. In one scene he is seen asking Kalinda to do something for him and suggests that it is her job to be serving her, at which point she hurls an object his way -- while telling him that she served Will not him -- and storms out of the room.

Here's the official synopsis of the episode:

"Florrick/Agos takes on the case of an NSA whistleblower, only to learn that the agency has been monitoring the firm as well as Alicia's personal life. Meanwhile, Diane faces the difficult task of working alongside Louis Canning when he joins Lockhart/Gardner. Also, Alicia goes after the State's Attorney when he attempts to make Finn a scapegoat in the Jeffrey Grant case."

The episode will air on CBS on April 13.
