'Man of Steel 2' News: Ben Affleck Becoming 'Real-Life Superhero' To Portray Batman? [VIDEO]
Ben Affleck's physical trainer for his highly anticipated role as Batman in Man of Steel 2 has revealed just how much progress the actor has made so far.

Affleck is reportedly bulking up in order to accurately portray the iconic superhero in Man of Steel 2, which is set for 2016. The actor's trainer, Rehan Jalali, has been posting updates on the future Batman's progress.
"Big muscular yet lean and good body symmetry! Going for the Real-life superhero look! #RJfit," Jalali tweeted last week. He also assured fans that Affleck was dedicated to becoming Batman.

"Update: Batman is getting Large! He's working very hard! #Dedication #Excited #DarkKnight #BatFleck #TheSixPackDietPlan," he tweeted.
Both tweets have since been deleted, though they were grabbed by Design & Trend.
Similarly, Gal Gadot is packing on some muscle as she prepares to take on the role of Wonder Woman, a character who has never been portrayed on the big screen before.
"I just keep active-everything that's challenging me, everything that I feel like doing," Gadot told E! Online recently. "It's not like I'm only TRX or Pilates. I do sports."
She also said that she is keeping track of her diet, though she allows a cheeseburger every now and then.
The highly anticipated Man of Steel 2 is going to be a star-studded affair. Joining Affleck and Gadot for the film are Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth. Holly Hunter has also joined the cast for an unannounced role, as have Callan Mulvey and Tao Okamoto.
Man of Steel 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
