‘Law & Order: SVU’ Season 15 Spoilers: Benson Submits To Demands Of Her Former Serial Rapist Attacker In Episode 20 ‘Beast’s Obsession’? [VIDEO]
NBC's hit crime stoppers series Law & Order: SVU is all-new tonight, and Olivia Benson's former attacker, serial rapist William Lewis, has escaped prison and has his heart set on revenge, in the upcoming episode 20, Beast's Obsession.
Lady Arrested For Child Endangerment In Episode 19, 'Downloaded Child?'
During last season's finale, actor Pablo Schreiber's recurring character, William Lewis, kidnapped Officer Benson, then held her hostage for four days while he raped and murdered his attorney-girlfriend's mother in front of her. After he beat and tortured the officer, he failed in his attempt to rape her, as she ended up beating him unmercifully with an iron rod, almost killing him. Moreover, though last Wednesday's episode ended on a good note for the character played by actress Mariska Hargitay, tonight's airing of the show will be another heck of a ride for SVU's leading lady.
According to CarterMatt Tuesday, the official synopsis reads: "The sadistic William Lewis (Schreiber) escapes from prison, arbitrarily killing as he goes. Concerned for Benson's safety, a security detail is assigned to her 24/7, but it doesn't take long for Lewis to get her back where he left off. With time running out, Benson must decide how much she's willing to sacrifice in order to save the life of a child."
Olivia Benson To Become A Mother?
Furthermore, Lewis wants to make Benson suffer. And, he knows that in order to fully accomplish his goal, he must get her to publicly embarrass herself by admitting she was wrong, in a news conference on the 6 o'clock news. Plus, for leverage, he kidnaps a young girl, which he is certain will really "pierce her heart," and spring the heroine into action. "If there is one thing that we have learned about [Benson]... it is that she is a woman who never gives up, and always finds a way to make things happen for justice," declared Carter Matt.
