Lizzy Caplan 'Insanely Embarrassed' By Sex Scenes? Virginia Will 'Piss Women Off' in Season 2?
The highlight of the Masters of Sex clip is Virginia (Lizzy Caplan) wanting to pull out from the research experiments with Bill Masters (Michael Sheen). She is seen complaining about being "propositioned for sex a dozen times a day" since the duo's presentation was released in the medical community. In one bit we see her fighting off a colleague in the rest room. She seems to be telling Masters that she is quitting when she says, "I am afraid I have lost my appetite for that."
Last month, Caplan spoke about season 2 and her character at the PaleyFest.
Libby Masters Won't Be A Good Mother to Face "Bad Repurcussions" in Season 2?
"She's a very flawed character. She makes decisions over the course of the first season, and hopefully the seasons to come, that are going to piss a lot of people off, and piss a lot of women off," she said. "And people are going to have very, very mixed feelings about her. I love that that exists. I'm looking forward to really upsetting people, or getting people to talk about why this is upsetting, why they're more capable of accepting certain behaviors from a man and not a woman."
