Blake Lively Kills 'Savages' Premiere, John Travolta Almost Upstages Her [PHOTOS]
'Gossip Girl' star Blake Lively stepped on the red carpet for the 'Savages' premiere last night.
The beautiful blonde channeled old Hollywood glamour with long body waves in her hair, bright red lipstick while posing in a figure-flattering curvy couture gown. Lively's lovely nude corset-style floor-sweeping gown was trimmed with sequins and geometric details by Zuhair Murad. She accessorized her outfit with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Blake was joined at the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California with co-star Salma Hayek who also bedazzled in a green sequins column gown and co-stars Benicio Del Toro, John Travolta (with wife Kelly Preston), Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johns. Helen Hunt and 'Weeds' star Mary Louise Parker were also at the premiere.
'Savages' is about a violent feud between marijuana growers and a Mexican drug cartel. Blake plays a hippie girlfriend of two marijuana growers. When she is kidnapped, the boyfriends confront a Mexican drug cartel formally called the Baja Cartel, led by Elena Sanchez (Salma Hayek) and Miguel (Benicio del Toro) to rescue her.
The other buzz at the screening that almost upstaged Lively was of co-star Travolta planting an awkward kiss on his wife Kelly Preston's lips for the photographers.
Travolta has been hit by numerous lawsuits in the past months. The most recent is from a sailor who accuses him of sexual assault. Before the sailor had claimed he he was sexually harassed by Travolta.
Last month Travolta was in a brewing scandal where several men claimed he made sexual advances towards them during massages which resulted in two lawsuits but since then one has been dropped.
Devout Scientologist Traovlta has been married to Preston since 1991. Their oldest child Jett died in 2009 at the age of 17 and they have two other children Ella Blue, 11, and 23-month-old Benjamin.
