With the premiere of season 2 of Masters of Sex just a couple of months away, Enstars has a bunch of spoilers to keep fans hooked until then.

Lizzy Caplan 'Insanely Embarrassed' By Sex Scenes? Virginia Will 'Piss Women Off' in Season 2?

The cast and creator of the show have been gradually dishing on what fans can expect from the Showtime series this summer.

Most recently, the show's creator, Michelle Ashford, suggested that they did intend on showing Virginia and Bill getting married at the end of the series but hoped to capture as much of their lives as they could. She added that that would be dependent on the number of seasons the show gets to run for.

Michael Sheen Wears Lizzy Caplan's Underwear to Get into Character?

It also seems like the show might cut down on its sex scenes owing to a few new developments. Ashford stated that she was "one of the biggest prudes" when it came to portrayal of sex on the screen and might have already outdone herself with the first season in that regard.

She went on to suggest that she would only show sex in a way that related to the story.

On April 15 the first promo for the second season of Masters of Sex was revealed in which Virginia is seen complaining about being "propositioned for sex a dozen times a day" since the duo's presentation was released in the medical community. In one bit we see her fighting off a colleague in the rest room. She seems to be telling Masters that she is quitting when she says, "I am afraid I have lost my appetite for that."

Ashford has also stated that the second season will start with a time-jump, to move into a more eventful phase of Bill and Virginia's story.

But the drama on the show will not suffer. Bill and Libby Masters will be having a child in the second season and seems like the couple are really not cut out for parenthood. In an interview Michael Sheen confirmed that his character would definitely not be up to the tast, which didn't come as too much of a surprise as Bill has always been a bit of an emotional cripple. But when Annaleigh Ashford, who plays Libby, suggested that even she might not pass muster as a mom, it seems like Masters junior will bring a new dimension of drama to the show.

Season 2 of Masters of Sex returns to Showtime on July 13.
