'The Good Wife' Season 5 Spoilers: Alicia To Get Caught In A Love Triangle With Finn Polmar and Daniel Irwin? [VIDEO]
As Alicia is trying to get over Will and has definitively severed ties with her husband Peter, she might be courting two new romances in her life on the upcoming episodes of season 5 of The Good Wife.
In a new report it has been suggested that Alicia (Juliana Margulies) will be smitten by Daniel Irwin, to be played by guest star Lestor Carbonell, "a charming entrepreneur" in the episode scheduled to air on May 4.
She will meet Irwin during jury duty and sparks will fly. It is being suggested that Alicia will turn to her more free-spirited mother, Veronica (Stockard Channing) for advice.
Kalinda Next in Line to Leave Show After Will?
In the latest episode Alicia did make it clear to her husband, Peter (Chris Noth), that they would stay married but only to help each other professionally, and that they were free to sleep with other people.
Recently the creators of the show hinted at a possibility of something developing between Alicia and Finn Polmar (Matthew Goode) as well.
Michael J. Fox is the "New Will?"
Show producer Robert King suggested that Polmar was meant to inject some male blood after Will's (Josh Charles) departure and in a way flirted with the idea of him replacing Will in Alicia's life with time.
"We're not going there [yet]," he said. "A lot of what we do is watch the dailies and see what comes out. There is a lot of fun chemistry between Julianna [Margulies] and Matthew [Goode], but we can't [address the potential for romance] until we react a little bit more to what's being shot."
This might give rise to speculation about Alicia's romantic life and where it is headed: is there a possible love triangle on the cards with Polmar and Irwin on the cards?
In the next episode, titled Tying the Knot, Alicia's "creepiest client" will return. Things will get curiously funny in the CBS legal drama as they always have when the client Alicia loves to hate returns with another case. Colin Sweeney (Dylan Baker) will be back.
Episode 19 will air on CBS at 9 p.m. on April 27.
