Connie Britton, who plays Rayna on Nashville, just dished on something exciting that is about to take place in the finale.
Scarlett's Breakdown & 'Massive Meltdown' Chatter
On Monday, Buddy TV posted a live interview with the actress who revealed that she and the cast filmed at Fort Campbell army base, which will more than likely be important in new episodes.
"These are really strong episodes and packed with stories certainly, but the second to last episode in particular was exciting because we got to shoot at Fort Campbell Army Base and that's the one that Michelle Obama is going to be a part of," Britton said. "And my character Rayna puts on a big concert for the troops. And we got to actually perform a concert for the troops at Fort Campbell and their families and it was an extraordinary day."
Rayna Makes A Huge Concert Debut?
The actress then discussed the finale on how her character has been trying to create her own independent label, which will culminate in her album release- not to mention, a big twist as well.
"The season finale for Rayna is really going to be an opportunity to just see what that process is, and I think there are going to be some nice moments of victory for her, which is great, but also some twists in there," Britton said. "There was definitely a twist in there that even surprised me when I read it so there are going to be some good episodes."
Nashville airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
