'The Voice' Results Tonight 2014 VIDEO: Season 6 Top 10 Performances, Watch Kristen Merlin, Audra McLaughlin, Kat Perkins & More
The Voice has narrowed its competitors down to the Top 10, and these singing hopefuls took the stage once more on Monday for the second round of live performances.
Now that contestants are at the mercy of America's voters, they have the chance to get a little extra boost from either the iTunes sales bonuses (which multiplies an artist's vote by five when their single for that week enters the iTunes Top 10) or the Instant Save (which allows voters to save one of the bottom three by tweeting their support). While Coach Blake Shelton, Coach Adam Levine, Coach Usher, and Coach Shakira will be on hand to critique their charges' performances, each performer must use their impressive pipes to win over the public.
Team Adam's Kat Perkins kicked off the evening with her rendition of AC/DC's Landslide, and she was soon followed by Christina Grimmie and Delvin Choice with Drake's Hold On, We're Going Home and Gary Clark Jr.'s Bright Lights, respectively. As per Levine's prior Voice track record, the Maroon 5 frontman has assembled a stellar team and each of his pupils received glowing praise from the judges.
Meanwhile, Shelton is Levine's bitter rival and it looks like the competition between the two teams is getting fierce. Audra McLaughlin displayed some powerful vocals for Reba McIntyre's You Lie while Levine was convinced Sisaundra Lewis blew the roof of the auditorium with her rendition of Journey's Oh Sherri. Jake Worthington, however, fell slightly flat with his take on George Strait's Run.
Usher and Shakira both only have two competitors still in the mix, but most of heir team members did just as well as Levine and Shelton's. For Team Shakira, Tess Boyer made up for her poor performance last week by delivering "pitch perfect" vocals, according to Usher, and Kristen Merlin scored with Passenger's Let Her Go. Team Usher suffered from a rocky act by Bria Kelly but saw success with Josh Kaufman's rendition of Kenny Loggins' This Is It.
Find out who will be sent home when The Voice returns with a result show tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
