'Arrow' Season 2 Spoilers: Sara's Ex-Lover and League of Assassins Leader Nyssa al Ghul To Return in Finale? [VIDEO]
Sara's ex-lover and League of Assassins leader Nyssa al Ghul will be returning to Starling City in the finale of Arrow's second season according to a new report.
Oliver To Surrender To Slade's Army? New Stills Of Ultimate Battle Between Oliver And Slade Revealed
Entertainment Weekly produced proof by publishing the first picture from the season finale featuring Nyssa (Katrina Law) on April 28.
It seems ilke Nyssa will be siding with Oliver and crew as she will lead the League of Assassins to fight Slade's mirakuru army which has laid siege to Starling City.
In the last episode Sarah (Caity Lotz) had revealed that she was going to see "an old friend." And now it seems like we know who that might be.
Producer Andrew Kreisberg seems to have also suggested that the friend is Nyssa.
The Finale Will Be "Insane;" Oliver and Laurel to Get Back Together?
"She went to go get help," Kreisberg said. "Because when you're fighting an army, you need an army."
Here's the official synopsis for the next episode, City of Blood:
"OLIVER CONSIDERS HIS OPTIONS AGAINST SLADE - After Slade (Manu Bennett) threatens to take everything Oliver (Stephen Amell) loves away, Oliver decides the fastest way to stop further bloodshed is to surrender to his enemy. Knowing that surrender will surely lead to Oliver's death, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) go to extreme measures to keep Oliver from confronting Slade. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) considers leaving town, and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) resumes her crusade against Sebastian Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro). Finally, Slade unleashes his assault on Starling City. Michael Schultz directed the episode written by Holly Harold (#221)."
City of Blood will air on May 1 on CW.
