Amanda Bynes Gets Her License Back
She was spotted out driving with her parents Rick and Lynn in Westlake Village, Calif. on Saturday, April 26, just days after she reportedly received her license back following two hit-and-run accidents and an arrest for a DUI in 2012.
According to Us Weekly, the star was placed on three years of probation back in February 2013 in exchange for her DUI charge being dropped, but her license was still suspended for the two hit-and-runs.

Bynes consistently made headlines in 2013 for increasingly erratic behaviors, bizarre Twitter messages and rants and for changing her look with various colored wigs and cheek piercings. After setting a fire in a driveway in her hometown of Thousand Oaks, Calif. she was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold at an L.A. hospital before being transferred to a rehab facility. She was released from the facility in December 2013.
At the time of her hospitalization, it was reported that the actress had been diagnosed with both schizophrenia and bipolar disorders, though her mother Lynn has since claimed that her daughter was never diagnosed with the disorders and her behaviors were all a result of marijuana usage.
"Amanda has no mental illness whatsoever," Lynn Bynes told E! News April 9. "She has never been diagnosed as schizophrenic or bipolar. Amanda is very sorry for all the hurtful tweets, statements and actions that occurred while she was under the influence of marijuana."
Amanda's lawyer also refuted claims the actress had been diagnosed with the disorders, and said she is now off any medications and has been marijuana-free for nine months.
"Amanda is currently on zero medication," Tamar Arminak told People. "She's devoted to living her life as healthy as possible. She's never had a history of abusing alcohol or hard drugs, and she's proud to say she has been marijuana-free for the past nine months."
