Mary & Francis To Have A Baby?
A clip of the new episode, published on Wednesday, shows Lola lying down in bed taking care of her pregnant belly when Julien comes in and starts giving her genuine words on how he wants to be there for her. But based on the tension the two face, Julien may not stick to his words, leaving speculation if he'll run out on Lola or not.
The clip starts off with Julien and Lola giving each other smiles as the mother-to-be says that she just needs rest. Julien offers to sleep somewhere else for the night, but Lola says that's not what she wants at all.
Mary's Character To Change In A Way That Was 'Never Seen Before?'
"You've been so kind to me," Lola tells Julien. "A better husband than I could've hoped for...or might deserve."
Her husband is bothered by that remark, but Lola means well when she says that she's been happy. But what scares her is giving birth, mentioning how it's dangerous for women.
"Would you be with me? At my side?" Lola asks her husband.
Julien hesitates before he answers, which begs the question on if Lola can really trust him or not.
"I always want to be there for you," Julien says.
"That's not the same as saying you'll be with me," Lola informs him.
She then says that she understands since it's not common for men to witness birth, but Julien tries to let his wife know that she has a strength that she needs to realize.
Reign airs on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
