'Magic Mike 2' News: Sequel Loses Another Male Stripper, Doesn't Have The Physical Appearance Anymore? [VIDEO]
After there was some speculation that Alex Pettyfer may not reprise his role for the Magic Mike sequel, it's been reported that another cast member may not come back.
Magic Mike Sequel Losing An Important Character?
On Wednesday, Chicago Tribune reported that actor and World Wrestling Entertainment Superstar Kevin Nash, who played "Tarzan" in the original film, is unsure at this point if he'll be back for the second film.
"I haven't heard either way," Nash said at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo last weekend. "I know that [screenwriter] Reid [Carolin] and the guys were working on putting it together. I kind of know the pretense of what it's going to be."
Zac Efron To Play A Stripper In The Sequel?
The pro wrestler also mentioned that he doesn't look anything like he did in the first Magic Mike movie, and people tend to notice his appearance from other films he's been in.
"I think if someone mentions that I was in [Magic Mike], they see it," Nash said. "I had the long black hair [in the movie], but don't have that physical appearance now. When I have my short hair like this, I get more The Longest Yard and The Punisher. I look more like those two characters."
Nash revealed that he has other films coming his way, but he would be fine if he never worked again.
There was a rumor from Glamour that Zac Efron could make an appearance as one of the male strippers for the sequel although it would apparently be up to Channing Tatum.
Magic Mike XXL is expected to hit theaters on July 3, 2015.
