'Law and Order SVU' Season 15 FINALE SPOILERS: Benson's Connection To A Rape Suspect Revealed & Amaro Targeted By Internal Affairs? [VIDEO]
The synopsis for the finale of the fifteenth season of Law and Order SVU was revealed on May 2 and it seems like both Nick Amaro (Danny Pino) and Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) will be in for some trouble.
NBC Show Not Being Renewed for Another Season Because of Financial Issues?
Amaro is going to be slapped back on the radar of Internal Affairs and this time around he might just have to man up and deal with it, as there is no way to get out of this mess. Meanwhile, Benson -- who just got out of quite a damaging experience after witnessing serial killer William Lewis' (Pablo Schreiber) suicide in the latest episode -- will have a whole new situation to deal with. Interestingly enough she is going to be linked up with a rape suspect in a new case wherein an "online ad leads to the rape and robbery of several male tourists."
As Enstars had already reported before, retired Detective John Munch (Richard Belzer) will also be returning for the finale. Munch last appeared in the episode titled Wonderland Story on October 16, 2013. In the episode the detective retired from the NYPD. Amaro is going to need Munch's advice to deal with his new predicament in the finale.
Here's the official synopsis for the finale:
"Amaro's (Danny Pino) recklessness once again makes him the target of Internal Affairs, and he has no choice but to face the consequences. With his porfessional and personal life at risk, he looks to his friend John Munch (Belzer) for advice. Meanwhile, an online ad for escorts leads to the rape and robbery of several male tourists, and one of the suspects has a surprising connection to Sergeant Benson (Mariska Hargitay) that may chane her life forever."
The finale will air on Wednesday, May 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
