While one couple will potentially take a major step towards a future together on The Bold and the Beautiful, another could come closer to ending their romance.

Hope 'Needs Time' To Date Liam As Well?

Hope's (Kim Matula) relationship with Wyatt (Darin Brooks) has been dealt a bit of a blow now that she is also dating Liam (Scott Clifton) at the same time. Though Wyatt has been projecting confidence in his ability to truly win her over in the end, in a preview clip for the Monday, May 5 episode, he could be considering bowing out and letting Liam win after all.

"Only one of us can truly make you happy," he says.

Brooke Uses Papers Against Katie To Reinstate Bill As CEO?

Meanwhile, Katie (Heather Tom) has just been ousted as CEO of Spencer Communications and been forced to give Bill (Don Diamont) equal custody of their son thanks to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) producing the papers Katie once signed. In desperate need of support after realizing her world has begun to crumble, she will call Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).

"I really believe that my vision for the company was starting to pay off, what do I do about that and do I put my son through that?" she asks.

Her deeply hurt moments however could soon be turned around when Ridge surprises her with a marriage proposal.

"It's easy. It's a yes or no answer," he says.

If Katie accepts, she will be making plans to marry her sister's ex-husband, something that is sure to further incite rage from those surrounding the couple.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
