‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Soap Spoilers: Katie Tells Brooke She’s Engaged To Ridge As Bill Promises To ‘Show Her He’s Worthy?’ [VIDEO]
Though Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) scored a major victory over her sister Katie (Heather Tom) by producing papers reinstating Bill (Don Diamont) as CEO of his company and giving him equal custody of his son, she won't be celebrating for long on The Bold and the Beautiful.
In fact, in a preview clip for the Tuesday, May 6 episode, she will already see her sister finding a way to trump her -- with an announcement that she is now engaged to Brooke's ex-husband, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), after a mere two months of dating.
"Ridge proposed to me," Katie gleefully says to her sister in the preview clip.
Brooke Uses the Papers Katie Signed Against Her?
Brooke will likely be rocked by the news, because even though she has moved on with Katie's own ex-husband, she never believed Katie and Ridge's relationship would lead to marriage.
Before Katie drops the bomb on her, however, Brooke is enjoying her small victory with Bill back at the Spencer Communications offices, as the two celebrate the fact that they now have everything they want.
"I'm going to spend the rest of my life showing you I'm worthy of what you've done for me," Bill says to Brooke in the clip.
The fact that they were separated for a while due to Bill's brief betrayal of both Brooke and Katie, and then Brooke's determination to reunite with Ridge once he came back to town, will likely be brought up in the conversation, as Brooke will remind Bill that even though they weren't together at the time, the potential for a reunion was always present.
"Our bond was there, no matter how far apart we were," she says.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
