'Teen Wolf' Season 4 Spoilers: MTV Series 'Pulling Back To Its Roots'; The Werejaguar & Benefactor vs Humor & Reality [VIDEO]
Teen Wolf will be getting a burst of reality as the series leaves the Nogitsune behind and moves into season 4.
The supernatural has overrun Beacon Hills over the last three season, but wow the daily turmoil of the everyday is catching up to the creatures of the night. Luckily, it's bringing a bit of season 1 humor along for the ride.
"We've pulled back. There's a lot of humor, here's a lot of family. There's a lot of reality, which doesn't make sense on Teen Wolf," explained Linden Ashby (Sheriff Stilinski), according to the Mingle Media TV Network. It's really kind of pulling back to its roots in a weird way, and it's really nice. It's really funny and got a lot of heart, but still scary, and I really like it."

The series has definitely earned the right to a little levity after Stiles' (Dylan O'Brien) possession cast a dark pallor over Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and his pack during season 3.
Although the local werewolves, kitsunes, werecoyotes, banshees and their human allies will have to take on the werejaguar and the mysterious Benefactor, there will be plenty everyday drama as well (i.e. Scott and his father).
"There's a lot of real world concerns this season as well," Ashby said. "The real world comes into Beacon Hills."
