Agents of SHIELD's Coulson has lost nearly everything, but the loyal agent isn't about to give up as the Marvel series nears its finale.

Grant Ward Tried To Burn Who Alive On 'Agents of SHIELD'?

Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) is rallying his team, uncovering a few shocking truths, and getting a little help from he allegedly deceased director of SHIELD during "Ragtag" and "The Beginning of the End."

"The last couple of episodes have been the destruction of everything Phil Coulson dedicated his life to: S.H.I.E.L.D., even the team that he put together after his near death, or actual death during The Avengers, has turned out to be sullied by a traitor in the midst. And now S.H.I.E.L.D., it turns out, has been filled with Hydra for nigh on 50 years. Everything the guy believes in has been destroyed," Gregg informed Entertainment Weekly. "But I think for the last two episodes, it becomes clear that this team is not going to let these people get away with what they've done, whether they're operating on behalf of S.H.I.E.L.D. or not."

As Coulson, gears up to take on Garrett and HYDRA in (hopefully) final battle, Gregg has three words to describe the upcoming finale.

"Payback's a b---h," Gregg told Entertainment Weekly.
