The Blacklist's freshman season is drawing to a close and viewers have yet to find out who Berlin really is.

Luckily for fans, the season finale will give at least a few hints regarding the criminal's history.
Berlin's flaming wreck of a prisoner transport plane will have touched down by the start of "Berlin: Conclusion," and the mysterious baddie will move on with his plane to target every member of the Blacklist team during. As Tom (Ryan Eggold) prepares to do his boss' dirty work and put a bullet in his wife, Liz (Megan Boone) will be springing Red (James Spader) from prison in order to take down his unknown nemesis.

"In our finale, the bad guy of the episode is going to be going after the people on the task force and he will be successful in killing some or a number of them," explained executive producer John Eisendrath, according to Beyond the Blacklist.
However, Berlin's true identity may never actually be exposed, at least not in season 1.
"You certainly get more of the back of his head, for sure," Boone teased, according to TV Line.
