‘Amazing Race’ 24 Final 3 Spoilers: Brenchel ‘Getting The Boot’ After Rachel Doesn’t Stop Crying During Challenge? [VIDEO]
It's the moment fans of the Amazing Race: All-Stars have been waiting for, and it's set to air in the second-to-last episode of the season.
'A Lot of Tensions' In 'Amazing Race All-Stars' Season Finale?
What appears to be an official Rachel Reilly meltdown looks like it will be happening as the remaining four teams begin racing for a place in the final three.
Known for her famous crying session over a challenge that would have required her to shave her head in Season 20, Reilly appears to be revisiting the behavior in a preview clip for the semi-final episode of the All-Stars season, set to air Sunday, May 11.
Dave and Connor 'Need Luck' To Win $1 Million Prize?
In this leg, teams will race from Seville, Spain to Liverpool, England, where they will complete at least two tasks involving shooting and soccer, as well as one which requires them to repeat a phrase in a different language.
However, one task, potentially a Detour, which will see Brendon and Rachel trying to complete a game that involved throwing smoking boots, could bring Reilly to the brink, and will show her repeating the same behavior that made her so memorable during her initial run.
She is seen crying during the challenge twice during the clip, with her husband and teammate, Brendon Villegas even yelling her at one point to cut it out.
"Stop crying!" he says as they dig through a pile of rubber boots.
More ominious is a voice-over during the clip that teases, "Every move and every word could mean winning or getting the boot."
If the voice-over is meant as a hint to suggest the newlywed couple will be eliminated just shy of making the final three, it would officially make the three teams of the Accidental Alliance the ones who will race for the $1 million prize at the finish line.
Earlier spoilers did suggest though that Brendon and Rachel would be in the final three, alongside Dave and Connor O'Leary and Jennifer Wayne and Caroline Cutbirth, meaning cousins Leo Temory and Jamal Zadran would be the ones actually eliminated this leg.
If an elimination does happen in this episode, it would also be a departure from how the show was done in the previous three seasons where the final two legs were broadcast on the same night in a two-hour block, with the fourth place finishing team being saved and later seen in the final episodes.
All four remaining teams have all appeared on seasons since Season 18's Unfinished Business, the last time teams from older seasons all raced once more. In Season 20, Brendon and Rachel placed third, while Season 22 saw Dave and Connor withdrawing due to injury and placing 8th, with Caroline and Jennifer placing 4th. Leo and Jamal, who appeared on the show's 23rd season, also placed 4th.
The Amazing Race airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
