'Reign' Spoilers: Mary Will 'Have A Baby Quick' & Francis Will Become King After Killing His Father? [VIDEO]
Reign is about to air its first season finale, which will likely be a massive moment, possibly involving the king dying and a pregnancy.
On Thursday, TV Line posted an interview with Toby Regbo, who plays Francis on the series, on what viewers are about to see. When he was asked if having a baby is Francis and Mary's number one priority, the actor responded, "Definitely."
"For royalty, that's pretty much the most important thing," Regbo said. "You've got to keep the line going. Every time King Henry's wife didn't have a baby, he cut her head off. So she better have a baby quick, or else she's out of here."
There is also a good chance that Francis will find a way to take out King Henry, which could involve a murder. Based on the actor's words, Francis may do whatever it takes to become the new king.
"What Francis hopes to do is to get him off the throne, somehow, and keep him locked up," Regbo said. "Then Francis will have to become king. It's slowly looming that, maybe, responsibility is coming into his hands."
The actor also revealed that the relationship between him and his brothers will likely improve.
"Our relationship is getting better," Regbo said on his character's brother Bash. "He saved me from underneath that ice, which we did in a tank. If I had actually fallen through that ice, Francis would have been dead- immediately dead. There's no way I could have gotten out of that ice alive."
Reign airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
