Zack Snyder appears to have revealed part of the Batmobile for Man of Steel 2 ahead of the film's 2016 release.

Snyder, who is set to direct Man of Steel 2, a.k.a. Batman vs. Superman, revealed a teaser on Twitter Monday of the Batmobile mostly covered up with a tarp, which Batman (Ben Affleck) is sure to drive in the film. The director wrote the following message alongside the photo:

"Could be time to pull off the tarp... Tomorrow?"

This sent fans into a frenzy and the tweet was re-tweeted by thousands upon thousands of Twitter users. Many users have noted that it looks like a cross between the Tumbler used in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy and Tim Burton's Batmobile that was used in Batman and Batman Returns.

Presumably, Snyder will be posting a photo of the Batmobile without the tarp on Tuesday.

Man of Steel 2 stars Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's butler. Holly Hunter will also be in the film, though her role is unknown. Additionally, Ray Fisher has essentially be confirmed to be playing Cyborg.

Production on the film is slated to begin very soon, though a specific date is unknown.

Man of Steel 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
