'Agents of SHIELD' Spoilers: Ward To Rebel Against The Clairvoyant [VIDEO]? Can Brett Dalton's Character Be Redeemed? [POLL]
Agent of SHIELD's Grant Ward may be preparing to part ways with his HYDRA mentor in the season finale.
The battle between Coulson's (Clark Gregg) team and the Clairvoyant will reach a climax during "Beginning of the End," and Ward (Brett Dalton) has one last chance to decide where his loyalties truly lie.
Not that will erase the laundry list of crimes he has committed - its far too long for that - but a smidgen of redemption for the double agent could go a long way towards saving someone else's life.
'Agents of SHIELD' Finale To Answer 'The Big Questions,' What Can Fans Expect?
Agent Garrett (Bill Paxton) is up and running thanks to a dose of the GH325 miracle drug, but the alien serum seems to have sent him full tilt into a spiral of crazy (see a sneak peek here). That little vial of green goop could cause Garrett to alter his plans to the extent that even Ward will think he's gone to far, according to TV Line.
"We saw in the last episode that it's a pretty warped 'father/son' bond they share," Paxton told TV Line. "It's the classic thing where at some point, no matter how close you are to the father, the son has to rebel."
Do you want Ward to have a chance to redeem himself, or is the duplicitous agent to far gone? Tell us in the poll below!
Agents of SHIELD airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
