In an interview on May 6, Danny Pino who plays Nick Amaro on Law and Order SVU dished on the finale of the show's fifteenth season and the fate of his character.

Speaking to Seattle PI, Pino suggested that his character was up for losing everything in the finale.

"In the finale, Amaro stands to lose not only his family, but his career," he said. "And it could happen that quickly and that easily, and it's only his current friends and perhaps some very close friends from the past who he has to rely on to get him out of the situation."

Pino also spoke about the rumor about Laura Benanti, who plays Amaro's wife, returning in the finale. The actor clarified that Benanti would actually be returning in the penultimate episode, which precedes the finale.

The finale will air on Wednesday, May 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
