Falling Skies' 2nd Mass is going to run into a little trouble on the road back the Charleston, and the ensuing mayhem will result in some new alliances and the return of a few familiar faces.

The Espheni has cooked up a whole new battle plan in the 20-odd days it's taken Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) and his crew to march home after their little excursion on Boston, and the alien invader's latest war machine will leave the resistance fighters separated for the first half of season 4. Luckily for them, several new guest stars will be around to help them out.

While Robert Sean Leonard's quirky Dr. Roger Kadar will be back for an unspecified number of episodes, two newcomers will be taking on hefty roles in the post-apocalyptic world - Psych's Mira Sorvino and Pirates of the Caribbean's Treva Etienne.

Sorvino will take on a recurring role as Sara, a fighter who not only teams up with the unsavory Pope (Colin Cunningham), but may also become strike up a more romantic relationship with the Bezerker.

Etienne has also been cast in a recurring role. The Brit will portray Dingaan Botha, another character willing to join in the 2nd Mass' fight for freedom.
