The drama is only beginning to heat up as the men in Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie's (Heather Tom) lives continue to fight about their respective children on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Brooke Uses Papers Katie Signed Against Her?

Bill (Don Diamont) has won equal custody of his son with Katie, thanks to Brooke producing the papers Katie had signed that not only gave him the equal rights to his son, but also won him back his position of CEO at Spencer Communications. Though his custody issues have been resolved, Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) have not been.

In a preview clip for the Wednesday, May 14 episode, Ridge will express his concerns to Katie over R.J. potentially becoming Bill's stepson.

Ridge Doesn't Understand How Brooke Can Be With Bill?

"I hope there's a way of saying this without upsetting you," he says to Katie in the clip. "I don't want Brooke to marry that guy."

Katie could feel a bit offended as she was previously married to Bill and is the mother of his son -- but she could also get upset because Ridge is now engaged to her, and hoping his ex doesn't marry another man could be taken the wrong way.

"Bill Spencer's unacceptable and I don't want him around my kid," he explains to his new fiancée.

While he and Katie hash out his feelings on the matter, Bill and Brooke will also be discussing the arrangements -- and Bill will tell Brooke that he can easily be R.J.'s stepfather, and worse men could be filling that role.

"As far as R.J. is concerned, that kid can do a lot worse than having me for a stepfather," he says.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
