'NCIS: LA' Season 6 Spoilers: CBS Series To Reach 'Zenith' At New Night & Time, What To Expect From Premiere [VIDEO]
NCIS: Los Angeles will be jumping to a new night and time when it returns for season 6.
The hit CBS drama is passing its 9 p.m. ET Tuesday slot over to the fledgling NCIS: New Orleans and breaking up with NCIS in order to stake its claim to the 10 p.m. ET Monday slot.
Unlike the franchises brand new Louisiana venture, Los Angeles is established enough that it can probably continue to pull in over 16 million viewers even without a lead in from the mothership - especially if executive producer John Peter Kousakis' latest tease turns out to be accurate.

"#NCISLA will reach its zenith in S6. NEW NIGHT...MONDAYS @10pm," Kousakis promised fans on Wednesday. "Stories will be better than ever. #staytuned #willnotdisappoint #BringItOn"
When NCIS: LA dues return next September, viewers will be immediately thrown back into one of the team's most dangerous missions. When last Tuesday's finale, "Deep Trouble," came to an end, Sam (LL Cool J) and Callen (Chris O'Donnell) were in an extremely perilous position when Hetty (Linda Hunt) was facing down the possible loss of her job.
The season 6 premiere, which was filmed directly after the finale, will focus on Deeks (Eric Chrisitan Olsen) and Kensi's (Daniela Ruah) search for their teammate while Sam and Callen attempt to survive on an bomb-laden submarine which may soon begin to take on water.
