Though she vowed never to let go of the pain caused to her by losing her mother at a young age, Aly Forrester (Ashlyn Pearce) may finally be ready to try and forgive Taylor (Hunter Tylo) after all on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Aly 'Cuts Taylor Off' From Thorne?

After some encouragement from her boyfriend Oliver (Zach Conroy), she went to Taylor and asked if she could teach her to forgive. Taylor apologized to her several times, and even recounted the story of what happened the night she accidentally hit Darla with her car -- and the story ended with the two women hugging.

Now, in a preview clip for the Thursday, May 15 episode, it appears Aly's dad Thorne (Winsor Harmon) may see the two hugging, realize his daughter has made an effort to forgive her, and could consider continuing his relationship with her once again as a result.

Thorne 'Puts His Focus' On Aly And Ends Things With Taylor?

"I'm thinking my daughter is going to be okay," he says to Taylor in the clip.

The move to forgive is a big step for Aly, who has held on to her anger over her losing her mom for a long time. Her outbursts landed her in trouble at school over the years, and even made her lash out at Hope (Kim Matula) for her relationship with Wyatt (Darin Brooks) for a while. She appeared to be calming down again after she began seeing Oliver but was at risk for her most severe outbursts and behavior yet when she learned that her father and Taylor were together again.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
