'Hannibal' Season 2 Spoilers: How Will Jack & Dr Lecter's Fight Really Play Out In The Finale? Bryan Fuller Explains [VIDEO]
The end of Hannibal's second season is nearly upon us, and fans already know one major event that will take place during "Mizumono."
What they don't know, however, is how it will end.
As depicted in the season premiere, Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) will go head-to-head with Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) before the credits role on the finale, and some are wondering just by series creator Bryan Fuller allowed a glimpse of this monumental moment to precede the actaull event.

"I was like, 'I know how Season 2 is going to end. It's going to be this big fight with Jack Crawford, and then there will be all of these other things with other people.' I just kept thinking about that fight and about how I couldn't wait to see it," Fuller explained to Collider. "So, I thought, 'Let's just see it now, and then it will cast a shadow over all of the events to come, in the season, and also let the audience know that Jack is going to figure it out. It will be epic.' That fight sequence is the beginning of several shocking things, so I felt like it was okay to give that up early. There was so much more to come that it felt like the right thing to do, and also an exciting thing to do. For me, personally, it was just a selfish thing to do because I couldn't wait to see it."
However, as Fuller pointed out to Collider, there is a lot more going on in "Mizumono" than the cannibal's attack on his FBI buddy. Will Graham's (Hugh Dancy) trap has reached its final stage, and no one knows quite how his plans will play out as the NBC series prepares for season 3.
