'The Mentalist' Season 6 Finale: Why Doesn't Patrick Jane Believe Lisbon Will Leave? Clock Ticks On Jisbon In Sneak Peek [VIDEO]
The Mentalist's Patrick Jane won't accept Teresa Lisbon's departure until she is already out of his reach.
When the Mentalist's season 6 finale kicks off, it appears there will be a slight communication breakdown between the sandy-haired investigator and his long-time friend. While the rest of Abbott's (Rockmond Dunbar) team is aware of when Lisbon (Robin Tunney) will be departing for D.C., Jane only learns the details from Cho (Tim Kang) as they discuss Lisbon's impending departure over a bloody corpse during "Blue Birds" (see video below).
Unfortunately, Jane (Simon Baker) seemed to be under the impression that Lisbon was all talk and no action. Looking like he has been repeatedly punched in the stomach, the faux psychic seems much more interested in Cho's news than the apparent murder scene in front of him.
It's probably safe to assume he hasn't been informed about Pike's (Pedro Pascal) sudden proposal either.
As the clock ticks away on his final case with Lisbon, Jane must sort out his feelings before she flies off for good. Will Jane confront her and attempt a Jisbon romance, or will his fears win out so that he losses out?
