Guardians of the Galaxy will debut a new trailer on Monday, but fans of the interstellar heroes can kick off the weekend with an advanced look.

Writer/director James Gunn took to his Facebook page on Friday night to dole out a little peek at the trailer in order to promote the Monday release and the cast's simultaneous live Q&A session, which will start at 1 p.m. ET on the film's Facebook page (see video below).
While Guardians' last trailer served to introduce new fans to the story's five main heroes, this next preview will focus more on the action and less on the backstory. While Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and his cohorts make spectacular leaps and wield some rather sharp hardware, Peter Quill looks like he's ready to kiss his green-skinned companion. Gamora (Zoe Saldana), for her part, is donning the half-human's beloved headphones, so take from that what you will.

In addition, Gunn had promised viewers an extra special treat regarding the team's gun-totting raccoon and sentient shrubbery.
"And, yes, Rocket and Groot will talk in the trailer on Monday," Gunn teased on Friday.
