‘Amazing Race’ Season Finale Spoilers: Country Singers Take The Lead In Final Leg And Win $1 Million Prize? [VIDEO]
Though they may be one of the more surprising teams in the final three of Amazing Race: All-Stars, country singers Caroline Cutbirth and Jennifer Wayne could manage to actually win the $1 million prize and cross the finish line first.
'Brenchel' NOT Winning 'Amazing Race: All-Stars?'
In a preview clip for the May 18 season finale episode, where one team will officially be crowned the winners of the All-Star season, teams are seen completing a challenge at The Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas which involves screwing light bulbs back into the resort's sign.
In the clip, Dave and Connor O'Leary are seen being brought up to their section of the sign that they are fixing-but unlike the rest of the season where they have usually been in the lead, the father/son duo will be arriving second-behind Cutbirth and Wayne. The girls will already be partially through the task.
Brenchel 'Playing Dirty' In Quest For $1 Million?
"I see the girls up there doing it," Dave says in the clip, as the camera pans from him and Connor to the girls.
"It's going well so far, it takes a while to screw them in," Wayne says in the clip as she and Cutbirth work.
The two then are seen in an on-camera interview, where they talk about how the challenge was actually a bit more difficult than previously thought, due to the distance away from the sign they actually were as they tried screwing in the bulbs.
A photo for the episode which showed the girls racing to the finish line also seems to bode well for them. Not only are they still running in the shot, but both have big smiles on their faces, meaning they could be the first ones arriving-making them the overall winners.
They could also be smiling because they are aligned with Dave and Connor, and if the father/son duo still manages to cross the Finish line before them, the country singer could be happy that they won instead of the other couple still in the race-Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly.
The Amazing Race season 24 finale airs Sunday, May 18 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
