'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 6 Contestants: Series Is 'Ready' To Have 'Kings,' Cast Member Already Lined Up? [VIDEO]
RuPaul's Drag Race is about to announce the winning queen, but it looks like a new kind of competitor might come along starting next season.
Bianca Del Rio To Win The Competition?
On Monday, The Advocate reported on the idea of the series ever revolving around drag kings rather than queens. The site asked contestants from this season and from previous years on what they thought of having women dress up as men, which they gave their support on.
"God I'd say anytime!" Bianca Del Rio, who is one of the current top three finalists, said. "They didn't plan to have old girls, and they had a bunch of us this year. So I think anything is possible. With Ru and them, they're always changing things up, which I think is great. Just when you think you know the formula, something switches. You never know!"
Queens 'Jumped Inside Of The Dreams?'
Chad Michaels, the winner of RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race, not only liked the idea of drag kings, but she also has someone in mind.
"I'm ready right now. In fact, I've got a couple names: Landon Cider, right here from L.A.," Michaels said. "He does this Pitbull impersonation that will just blow you away. It looks like Pitbull, but it's a woman doing it! And that's illusion. That's what gets me off."
Cider whose real name is Kristine Carr revealed the chances of this ever happening.
"I think Drag Race is ready, but I'm not sure if the people are ready," Carr said.
The RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6 finale will air on Monday at 10 p.m. ET on Logo TV.
