'Dancing With the Stars' Results Tonight 2014 VIDEO: Season 18 Finals Elimination Night One, Who Was Voted Off?
Dancing with the Stars said goodbye to two more performers during Monday's "Finals Night" competition.
Thanks to the season 17 decision to forgo results episodes, competitors are now eliminated based on their previous week's performance. Scores and voting from last week's "American Icons Night" left Big Time Rush's James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd in last place and the couple was booted from the ABC series.
Maslow and Murgatroyd are no strangers to having the lowest scoring dance. Over the course of the season, the pair have come in at the bottom three times, and their elimination was not overly shocking. While the pair pulled in a perfect 40 for their cha-cha-cha during Week 9, the pair also produced the lowest scoring performance on the same night. Maslow and Murgatroyd managed to avoid both extremes on Monday night and concluded their Stars run with 29s on both their tango and their freestyle.
On the complete opposite side of the competition is Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy who managed to dominate the scoreboard once more during Week 9. With a 30 for their Argentine tango and a 30 for their freestyle, Davis and Chmerkovskiy continued their tradition of snagging top marks..
ABC's Dancing with the Stars will return at 9 p.m. ET on May 20 with the second night of the "Finals" competition.
