Jon Bon Jovi to Launch 'Unplugged' Perfume
Jon Bon Jovi will be the face of a new Avon perfume, the company announced in a statement Monday.
The rocker will serve as the face of "Unplugged" fragrances for women and men that will be available in October and November respectively.
"Avon, and the Avon Foundation for Women, have given support and a voice to those in need for decades," said Jon Bon Jovi in a statement. "Their philosophy of empowerment sends a strong message and I'm pleased to partner with them," he added.
The perfume for women is made of a a floral oriental fragrance while the one for men is amde of a woody floral musk scent.
The products will be available through Avon Representatives in North America, the company said.
The Grammy-Award winner musician is also knwon for his work with charities.
He is Chairman of The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation which addresses issues that force families and individuals into economic despair.
The foundation opened the JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank, NJ.last year which serves nutritious, culinary dishes to diners who contribute either volunteer hours or a minimum donation for their meals.
