A promo for Mad Men's midseason finale has been released, giving viewers a look into the last episode of the hit AMC series for 2014; and it's all bad for Don.
Stan Rizzo Dishes on 'Mad Men' Spinoff?
In the revealing clip of Waterloo, Don is having reservations about his return to the advertising agency. After not being able to put a finger on why he's there exactly, he finally comes to terms and says, "I'm prepared to leave the agency." Don's marriage is on the rocks as his wife finds out about his mistress. His life is really going on a downward spiral. It's so bad that it gets to the point where someone asks if he will kill himself. To make matters worse, the agency lost one of its biggest clients, Chevy. And some of the employees get ousted for keeping it a secret.
A synopsis for Waterloo reads:
Don and Sylvia Reignite Affair?
"Don is troubled by a letter; Peggy may seek a new future on a risky venture; Roger receives a phone call; Pete and Cutler butt heads."
The final season of Mad Men is slated to get much eerier as a character who died a few seasons back is set to return.
TV Line reported earlier this month that Jared Harris has been on the set of the hit AMC series even though his character, Lane Pryce, committed suicide in the close of the fifth season. Insiders said that he will wear his director hat in the 11th outing that will air in Spring of 2015.
The midseason finale of Mad Men airs Sunday on AMC at 10/9c.
