'The Blacklist' NBC: Is The Task Force Reforming? Amir Arison Bumped To Series Regular [VIDEO]
The Blacklist's resident tech expert will be getting a little more screen time in season 2.
Amir Arison has been bumped up to series regular, a move that puts Aram, the FBI's computer whiz, in a position to play an even more integral role in Red's (James Spader) critical investigations, according to Deadline.
"If you love Aram it's our lucky day, because I love @AmirArison. Gonna be a great season 2 for us @NBCBlacklist," tweeted The Blacklist's Megan Boone (Liz) on Wednesday.
Not that Aram had a tiny role to begin with. The tech savvy agent made an appearance in 18 episodes of the series' freshman season and even proved his metal while under threat of death.
Although the taskf orce devoted to Red Reddington was disbanded at the conclusion of The Blacklist's freshman season, Aram's continued involvement indicates that the team, if not the official task force, will be reforming next fall.
However, the fate of Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix) is still up in the air. Berlin (Peter Stormare) took a major swing at everyone connected to Red during his eponymous episode, and Cooper was one of the unfortunates who nearly met his end. While Cooper managed to move his finger during the finale, the FBI Assistant Director is not quite out of the woods yet.
