On Wednesday, KSite TV posted an interview with Megan Follows, who plays the queen on the series. She revealed that she doesn't know much about what's going to happen, but it will definitely be something to look forward to.
"Catherine was a very, very powerful woman, whose power had been -- not really in the shadows, but she had to be very careful. So, it's going to be interesting," Follows said. "She became Queen Consort. She got it into her, basically, contract, that she would be Queen throughout the reigns of her sons. It's going to be really interesting to see where we go with it."
The actress then mentioned that she thinks her character will have a private and a public reactions now that there's another queen in the picture.
"I think publicly, she will be very smart, and know how to have the right appearance and the right show of respect, and privately, she will be thinking very carefully about what this means," Follows said. "Power structures and alliances."
The actress then dished on the fanbase the show's been receiving, which is surprising for her, but in a good way.
"It surprises you for all the right, great reasons, that you want it to surprise," she said. "I'm very happy."
Reign Season 2 is expected to premiere this fall on The CW.
