Supernatural is about to get a little more devilish.

Mark Sheppard, aka the King of Hell, has been confirmed as a series regular for season 10, according to Variety.

A key player in the lives of the Winchesters since season five's "Abandon All Hope," Crowley (Sheppard) has increasingly become something of an asset to the brothers as of late. Ever since Sam (Jared Padalecki) attempted to cure hell's ruler curing "Sacrifice," the King of Rotten has been displaying a curious affection for the hunting duo - and not just because Dean (Jensen Ackles) was integral to knocking off Abaddon (Alaina Huffman).

However, Crowley's increased presence may bode badly for Dean. Thanks to the demon's meddling, the elder Winchester wound up as the next vessel for the Mark of Cain. Following Dean's death at the hands of Metatron (Curtis Armstrong), Crowley placed the First Blade back into the hunter's hands and subsequently transformed Dean into a demon.

Could Sheppard's promotion indicate that Dean won't be losing his new black eyes anytime soon? Tell us what you think in the poll below.

Supernatural will return to The CW next fall.
