'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2: Is Fitz In Tahiti? Clark Gregg & Jed Whedon Hint At Engineer's Fate [VIDEO]
Agents of SHIELD's Nick Fury has assigned a team of doctors to make sure Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) remains in the lad of the living, but how far will the former director go?
Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) took drastic measures in order to save Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) after the Battle of New York, and there's no telling what form of alien medicine his medical staff will have in store for Fitz. Considering Fitz was too injured to appear at the end of the SHIELD season finale, fans have begun to wonder where exactly the British engineer went.
"He could be in TAHITI," Gregg joked at Saturday's Comicpalooza in Houston, Texas.

Considering the 'magical place' and it's resident alien corpse was destroyed while Coulson was trying to save Skye (Chloe Bennet) earlier in the season, it seems an unlikely - although highly amusing - option for Fitz.
While it is unknown how Fury's doctors will save Fitz, series co-creator Jed Whedon has hinted that the agent may not be quite the same.
"We're not positive how he made it through - or how far he made it through," Whedon told Buzzfeed. "There are still some questions to be answered there."
